Insights from the Harvest
Buddy guard / Hosts: Andreas & Ruta
Shared our story about successful bodyshop (not just in AoH to keep practice alive but also connect with people that speak with same language). At least helps me talk to people once a week. Action: I’m inviting more to be a mentor or buddy to people just starting (don’t know how to integrate into life or work). Let’s be there for younger and offer rather than wait to be asked. Education / Host: Moze Action We’ll be hosting conversations about making education what we dream of in Goa, Slovenia and Australia Farmers Tale / Host: Julian essence of writing is that it is older than writing and the use of story goes back over generations has an effect on our brains and bodies much more than technologies. The power of story is something we can use a lot more! One of the great non linear harvests of spreading into the world. Training for teachers / Host: ? Action: host meeting in Slovenia to work further in it. The idea of process to make it into learning/ practice community. What can be used from existing participatory trainings and what needs to be different, why and how? |
How to respond to hate speech / Host: Jaka
We don’t want to play the game of who’s right or wrong. It’s more about deep listening of their needs and feelings, connecting on this level. Gentle and respectful speech not anti hate speech. How to invite people into dialogue not just those we share same values but those with different values as well? It's important to start with ourselves there is always something in us hidden we could work on. Action: To invite in respect to dialogue you can use a talking piece/ circle. Design thinking application / Host: Paul Quick rapid ideation through personas playing with people and characters to having empathy for their situation making a prototype of their nature. Associates? Network? Consultancy? / Host: Marco Moving away from practicing our conversations and learning how can our businesses be our practice ground for all kind of processes? How can it be a continuous learning and be applying it everyday? Intentional Nomad's Circle/ Hosts: Mary Alice & Dee The Intentional Nomad's Manifesto (as created by the group): TRUST. You can only be lost if you're attached to a particular outcome. Embrace change. Step into the not-knowing. Rest. Look after yourself. Travel or settle with purpose. Build your community and tap in as required. Ask for help. With whom do you feel home? Don't try to walk anyone else's path. Stay humble. (And always take advantage of any washing machine offered!) |
